WO 009 - Vibration Analysis
This 4 day course including the optional 0.5 day review and exam provides the participants with an introduction to the fundamentals of performing vibration analysis within a condition monitoring program and how to collect good quality, repeatable data.
Attendees are exposed to introductory theory and how it is applied to the inspection disciplines demanded by an effective vibration program. Various techniques used to diagnose machinery condition are reviewed with an introduction to time waveforms, spectral analysis, phase measurements, and amplitude measurement methods.
Performing Condition Monitoring inspections with Vibration is a cost effective approach to preventing unplanned downtime and improving equipment efficiencies. Vibration is a key condition monitoring inspection tool and training is paramount to establishing an effective program with a fast return-on-investment and long term results.
This course is especially recommended for water & wastewater operators with limited vibration experience and is relevant to health professionals, supervisors, technicians and homeowners involved and/or interested in water & wastewater systems.
