PADM 693 - Special Topics in Public Administration

Title: Social Capital.
Prerequisite: Admission to the M.P.A. Program on instructor's approval.

Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the concept and importance of social capital in various aspects of society. The course covers the theoretical foundations of social capital and explores its applications in fields such as business, government, and community development. Students learn how social networks, relationships, and trust can be leveraged to create economic and social opportunities. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and experiential learning activities, students gain practical knowledge on how to build and maintain social capital in their personal and professional lives.

Section requirement: Department approval is required to register. Requires access to a computer with Internet, microphone, and speakers (or earphones).
