JUST CE140 - Hope 4 U – Reconciliation of Challenges in Everyday Living
This is an introductory 2-hour workshop designed to introduce you to exploring the following questions:
Why hope? What is hope?
Where does hope live?
When do we hope?
What do we think, wonder, and know about hope?
This inquiry – based approach will provide a conceptual and contextual understanding for:
Bringing awareness to the phenomenon of hope.
Recognizing the call for hope.
Tapping into our ability to access hope.
Understanding our agency to attain desired outcomes.
Persisting in our endeavor to sustain hope.
Instructor Brenda Fediuk W. Ed., recently retired from a 30-year career with the Yukon Government, Dept. of Education. She was a classroom teacher, special education teacher, English language learning teacher and home support worker. She has formal training in brain development, choice theory and hope. This webinar is rooted in her final paper for a graduate level course, Hope in Helping Relations.
