Your first step to a successful northern garden this season is selecting seed varieties for planting. In this course, participants will learn about seeds, seed classification, viability testing, seed terminology and focus on varieties that thrive in our northern climate.

Maturity dates, soil mixtures, nutrients, light requirements, watering, planting containers, germination temperature and growing temperature of seedlings will also be explored.
