This course will build on practical experience gained in the previous field placement while focusing on how children learn and develop through play. Students will be encouraged to observe and develop play experiences relevant to the developmental abilities and culture of the children in their practice setting. The field placement experience provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate professional and ethical behaviour while developing their skills to work with children. An integration seminar will provide students with the opportunity to discuss and integrate their observations and experiences in relation to theoretical concepts obtained in prior classes.

Prerequisites: ELCC 113, ELCC 114 & ELCC 122.
