CARP 123 - Shop and Practical Experience
In this course, students will use hand tools and power tools to build wood projects in the shop. They will practice residential construction techniques through framing projects and/or construction site experience. In addition to practicing the theory learned in other program elements, students will also work in teams and learn shop etiquette, including clean-up expectations and material storage protocols. (Requires 70% grade to pass and challenge Level 1 exam)
Prerequisite(s): Admission to Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Program
