CARP 121 - Drawing, Blueprint Reading and Estimating

In this course, students will learn about shop drawings and projections while creating drawings by hand or using computer programs. Students will also interpret blueprints and construction documentation and will use math concepts to estimate material requirements for foundations and floors. They will create drawings and material lists for their shop projects. This course covers the Residential Estimating and Drawing Interpretation outcomes for the Carpentry Apprenticeship Level 1. (Requires 70% grade to pass and challenge Level 1 exam)
